Western Electric 24A+594A Frequency Spec
Frequency Measurement of WE594A driver with 19A Attachment and 24A Horn
| 594A Driver + 24A Horn works up to 13KHz+ | ||

I do not have WE594A driver frequency data with 24A horn. So I measured it with sweeping sign wave generator(20Hz to 20KHz) and FFT analyzer with peak level hold. I found the frequency curve between 1KHz to 13KHz is following the figure of "Limits of audible sound determined by recent test" in auditory perspective paper (Published Dec.1933?) by Bell Laboratory. |

| As you know 594A driver is designed from the Fletcher System high frequency driver. Usually 26A horn is used for 594A driver however higher frequency area declines a little because of interference of each horn. 24A horn would be better for this point. In my frequency measurement, We can use 13KHz+. | ||
